Genesis 1:1-3
1 In the beginning God created [by forming from nothing] the heavens and the earth. 2 The earth was formless and void or a waste and emptiness, and darkness was upon the face of the deep [primeval ocean that covered the unformed earth]. The Spirit of God was moving (hovering, brooding) over the face of the waters.
In this familiar passage of scripture God shows us the process of creation or invention. The most powerful thing that God did that no one else has ever done was make something out of nothing. We have technology and many amazing things we can do but it always involves taking something that already exists and making something else out of it. Well, God cooks from scratch. All we can do is make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich out of peanut butter jelly, and bread that already exists but God has the power and ability to take absolutely nothing and make something out of it. I don’t know about you but that’s what God has done with me and my life and He’s not done yet.
I believe its time for you to re-invent yourself into what God wants you to be in this season of your life. The one thing that we must understand before we create or invent anything is that the Spirit of God must be involved in the process. Without the Holy Spirit we can do nothing. We can see in this scripture that the earth was created but had no form or structure to it. It took the Holy Spirit to move or hover over it to begin the creation process. God expresses this principle when He says “Let Us” make man in our own image. The Holy Spirit was part of the “Us”
God is wanting you to reorganize, re-prioritize, get a new network of people, and so on. To do this it will take the Spirit of God. So immediately after the Spirit of God hovered over the earth God began putting things in order based on the present and the future not the past. Organizing or prioritizing your life based on the past is like trying to connect to a network in a place that you no longer reside or abide in. You must reconnect to the proper network for where you are right now in order to get anything done and communicate with God. You can have a high level of skill and ability but without proper connection it is useless. Start off making sure you are connected to God and then He will add people to your life that will help you fulfill your destiny. Recognize you are probably not where you were last year so scan or evaluate your life for new networks for where you are now.
After the Holy Spirit is at work and you are connected to God’s network (not church) you must begin speaking God’s Word over your life as He did in Genesis Chapter 1. You must have faith that when you speak a thing it is so. You must learn how to departmentalize or organize your life as God did when He separated light from darkness, land from water and so on. You must know what role people play in your life and discern what is God and what is just good works. When you perfect this process you will begin to see a new you manifest.
I know you went to college, got a degree, worked in your field for 20 years but what is God telling you to do RIGHT NOW! Your key to happiness and fulfillment is finding the place God wants you right now. The transition can be very difficult but the reward on the other side is well worth it. God says in his Word that he has good thoughts about you and an expected end for you. It’s not always how you start a thing but how you end it. I want to end in the center of God’s will so I’ve decided to re-invent myself for the purpose of God. Accept the fact that your system is outdated and there is no longer Kingdom support for it. Upgrade how you live by re-inventing yourself and watch God do amazing things through and for you. This is your day of destiny. Don’t miss it by keeping the old system. The world is waiting to see the new improved you!!
Let’s Live Abundantly,
