1 Chronicles 20:24-25
24 And when Judah came to the watchtower of the wilderness, they looked at the multitude, and behold, they were dead bodies fallen to the earth, and none had escaped!
25 When Jehoshaphat and his people came to take the spoil, they found among them much cattle, goods, garments, and precious things which they took for themselves, more than they could carry away, so much they were three days in gathering the spoil.
You may be looking at some difficult situations in your life right now and want to throw in the towel because in your eyes there is no hope. Well, you may want to reconsider throwing in the towel.
In the scripture before we get to the aforementioned verses above God had simply told Jehoshaphat and the people of God to just show up to the battlefield and make sure they praise him on the way. As a result of their obedience we can see the results that God gave them.
This lesson should help us realize the battle is not ours but it’s the Lords. Many of you are tired and weary because you are fighting battles that don’t belong to you or seem much bigger than you. All God requires of us is to praise him and show up when and where he says so. Yeah, I know faith without works is dead, but, we must be careful not to try to do God's job because it's imposssible.
As a result of obedience Jehoshaphat and the army of God saw the enemy destroy themselves and they even left gifts in the process that took days to gather. If you would just hold on the enemy is about to return everything the devil stole from you plus interest. So stop being bitter and began to thank God for the gathering of the spoils. God is about to deliver the enemy into your hands and he won't be able to escape! Accept the fact that you WIN and there’s nothing that can change that but you!
HAPPY GATHERING,
LORENZO JANUARY
