Ephesians 3:20 (AMP)
20 Now to Him who is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly more than all that we dare ask or think [infinitely beyond our greatest prayers, hopes, or dreams], according to His power that is at work within us,
In a world where life moves at a pace so fast sometimes it seems that we rarely have time to keep up with our own lives much less think of the lives of others, but, we must learn to focus on what’s important. The bible teaches us to love one another, support one another, and pray for one another. However, many times our excuse is I wanted to but I was so busy. Am I the only one that says this daily?
Well, the problem I see with this is the enemy has tricked us into making life all about us rather than making life about giving and serving others. The bible says that God so loved the world that he GAVE his only son. That’s a serous offering that many of us need to think about the next time you’re at church and the offering is being received. Well what if God received the offering at your church and said the minimum I want is your only child or one of them and if you didn’t have children I need your life. I’m sure most of us would have a problem with that but God did it for us. Jesus purpose in life was to come to be an offering not to receive one!
When was the last time you did something for someone else without you in mind? When have you worked hard to benefit the lives of others? Are you just full of you? The point is don’t allow yourself to become bigger than life. Many of us feel entitled to the American dream but never contribute to the dreams of others.
In closing, life is bigger than you so get over yourself and allow God to fill you with his power and love. When we stop being so full of ourselves and allow God to fill us with himself that is when we will see the supernatural take over our lives and miracles, signs and wonders will take place and our dreams will become a reality. It’s not about us, but it’s all about God. Stop chasing after more but give more to get more. Life is bigger than YOU!
Let’s Live Abundantly,
